The ALCES Group offers customized training course at client locations or at our Bragg Creek Training Facility. If the client has only a few folks who wish to be trained, it makes most sense to attend our "open" courses at Bragg Creek. If there are several individuals that need training, it is generally cheaper for us to prepare and deliver a training course at the location of the client's office.
ALCES training courses generally occur over a 5 day period, starting at noon on Monday and concluding at noon on Friday. This schedule permits out-of-town attendees to fly into Calgary on Monday and fly out on Friday.
The cost of a training course at Bragg Creek is $3000/participant. Participants are responsible for all lodging and meals during the course. The ALCES Group generally reserves 1-2 spots on each course for university graduate students, who are allowed to take the course for free.
For customized ALCES courses taught at the location of our clients, rates are generally cheaper as the client will be providing the facilities and refreshments. Discounted per attendee rates can also be negotiated when companies have large numbers of participants to be trained.
Participants of courses are responsible for providing their own laptops (do not bring desktops) that has Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint installed. As a general rule, do not bring a laptop that is greater than 2 years old. The ALCES training instructors will provide training copies of ALCES and Stella. These files are required to be removed from your laptops at the conclusion of the training courses.
