Introduction

In this project we will explore the possible and desired futures of the Kimberly region. We will use two computer models, Ecopath with Ecosim and Alces. What futures we explore will be determined in consultation with stakeholders and interested parties. The success of this project depends crucially on us addressing the main issues, questions and concerns about the future of the Kimberley region. The result of this study will support key state and local decision-makers.

This document describes the approach we follow. We start by explaining why we use computer models, what it means to explore regional futures, and what it the role of stakeholders in this process.  We then provide some information about what models we use and the geographical extent of the model domains. Use the links on the left-hand side to cover all this material.
